The Length-n-Lock is designed to help reduce shrinkage and lengthen curls, so you can switch up your look without heat or dents. Whether you want to elongate your curls, create a layered look by using the Length-n-Lock on just the bottom portion of your hair, or prep for stretched styles, the Length-n-Lock makes it easy.

How it Works:  

• Wrap. Latch. Secure. The Length-n-Locks wrap around your hair in sections, holding your curls in place as they dry to preserve their length. They can also be used to stretch hair that’s already dry!

• Wear them overnight to wake up with elongated curls, or use them while getting ready— just make sure your hair is 100% dry before removing them, and your results should last until you re-wet your hair!

• Need a quicker option? Speed up the process with a blow dryer or hooded dryer.

How to Use:

1. Start with damp or dry, styled hair and create 2–6 hair sections.

2. Wrap one bendable end of a Length-n-Lock snugly around the top of a hair section, starting with the non-hooked side and finishing with the hooked side. Larger hair sections help create a tighter fit.

3. Latch the hooks into the mesh from top to bottom for a secure grip. Just like hooking a bra but each hook can go into any of the mesh holes.

4. Wrap the bottom end just above your hair’s ends—roll up first if needed to adjust the length. Repeat steps 1-4 on remaining hair sections.

5. Let your hair dry completely (air dry overnight or use a blow dryer). Then remove, shake, and fluff for volume! (For lasting results, remove the Length-n-Locks only when hair is 100% dry)

Extra Tips:

-For best results, don’t start with soaking wet hair! Your hair should be ~70-90% dry before wrapping (but can also be completely dry).

-Your results will depend on your shrinkage. If your hair shrinks 4 inches, expect to keep 4 inches of length, etc.

If the Length-n-Locks slip off, try larger sections and squeeze the flexible ends for a better grip.

-If you’re using 4 or more Length-n-Locks, sectioning your hair into top and bottom layers (vertically) instead of placing them side by side (horizontally) helps each Length-n-Lock sit closer to your roots for better results.

-We recommend leaving face-framing pieces out of the Length-n-Locks. For extra volume at your roots, you can also leave out the very  top section of your hair!
